THIS WEEK: THE 153rd British Open Championship

The 2025 British Open is here! Same rules as always: pick any three golfers in the field and whatever place your golfers finish at is how many points they are assigned. If multiple pool participants have the same point total, the tiebreaker will be used (tiebreaker is the total strokes you predict the 2025 US Open winner finishes with). Entry fee is $25 per participant and winnings will be split 80% to first, 15% to second, and 5% to third.
The pot this week is $700, so first place will receive $560, second place $105 and third place $35.
In the event that one of your golfers withdraws before the start of their first round, we have added an alternate pick to replace that golfer.
In an effort to make Let's Bet Golf! more competitive, we have removed Scottie Scheffler as an option since 75% of participants usually pick him.
Good luck and Let's Bet Golf!
Ed Espina won another Let's Bet Golf! title this week thanks to solid rounds from all three of his golfers on Sunday. It was a close race going into the final round of the 2025 British Open Championship, but Tyrell Hatton dropped 12 spots to 16th place and Jon Rahm didn't move up on the leaderboard, which helped Espina secure his record fifth Let's Bet Golf championship.
Ernie Acosta finished second only eight points behind Espina, and Anthony Cisneros won the tiebreaker for third place as his tiebreaker prediction was only two shots off of Scottie Scheffler's winning score of 267.
Thanks to everyone for your participation this year - we'll see you all in 2026.
